New Manchester United boss RALF Rangnick who joined United some few days ago has started a nice job with his first win in the premier league against Crystal palace.
Rangnick is looking forward to bring in some new players which will help him in the rest of the season ,and he is looking forward he can get the players he wants when the transfer market opens again in January.
According to reports, Manchester United want to sign the 26 year old dutch midfielder in a cut price 47 million Euros in January.
The midfielder who is not a regular starter in the Barcelona team could fit Manchester United with his style of play.
After reportedly United turning down the chance to sign Coutinho from Barcelona, United are now been linked with his team mate De Jong.
De Jong who is really wanted by United new boss Rangnick is under contract until 2026.
But Barcelona will be willing to sell him and make a little money and profit as his team are in significant debt, they might not sell him less than €60m.
But United are aware of Barca's monetary misfortunes and accordingly would not offer more than £47m - £18m not exactly the Catalan paid Ajax for De Jong in 2019.
