Loudmouth broadcaster and host of Onua Maakye, Godsbrain Smart known as Captain Smart has sent a message to the Former Finance Minister and owner of UniBank, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor.
Speaking on a special edition of his show dubbed Onua Maakye people's assembly, the firebrand broadcaster indicated that Ghana is not ready to have another old man as President.
"You are a very fantastic man but we are not ready to have an old man as President again".
Dr. Kwabena Duffuor has been in the news recently after delivering a keynote address about the Ghanaian economy and how to grow it.
His recent media engagements and conversations about the economy, youth unemployment, developing the skill set of the youth to compliment the 21st century industry needs and wants, corruption and organizing the base of the National Democratic Congress points to the fact that, he has interest in contesting for the highest office of the land.
Mr. Duffuor has served as Governor of the Bank of Ghana and Finance Minister under Prof. Mills.
However, Captain Smart cited Akufo-Addo's leadership as a clear example of how old men cannot govern this country.
