Hungary boss Rossi has confirmed Chelsea is almost done with the signing of his national team player Who plays as a center back for Hungary and Fenerbache in Turkey.
On Monday during the Premio USSI award the Hungary boss was interviewed , when he was asked by a Journalist which of his national team players can play in the Italian Serie A, Rossi said “ it is very difficult to name one player , right now I see Attila Szalai to be the player, but I think he is joining Chelsea.”
Clearly he has been followed by a lot of big teams, but for now his move to Chelsea is a done deal. He could be a great player for the Italian football.
But reports from Turkey last month claimed Chelsea is ready and has accepted to sign the Hungary player for around €20m but the conversation of the deal was not heard by many people.
He is one of the players Chelsea should keep an eye on him as he may join the blues as soon as things concerning the transfer has succeeded.
Szalai will be a better player to replace the likes of Chelsea defenders including Thiago Silva Rudiger and Christensen who’s contract expire in the summer.
But Szalai idol Thiago Silva might renew his contract next summer.
