In Ecuador, a group of friends removed their deceased friend's body from his casket and mounted him on a motorcycle for one last trip.

Last Saturday, two shooters assassinated Erick Cedeno, 21, on his way to a funeral in Portoviejo, Ecuador's Manabi province.

After gaining permission from Cedeno's family, friends removed his remains from the coffin while loved ones prepared to bury him.

In video footage, Cedeno's body is lifted from his wooden casket and carried towards a waiting motorcycle.

He was then seated behind the bike's rider, with another buddy seated in front of Cedeno to ensure his body did not fall off throughout the journey.

The strange scene drew a large crowd of individuals who came to see what was going on.

Meanwhile, the Dowen College administration in Lagos state has denied accusations that a 12-year-old student died after being allegedly assaulted by fellow students for refusing to join a cult.

The death of the boy went viral after a Twitter user claimed the late pupil was his cousin and called the school out on the social media platform. The school has been accused of lying about how the dead died as a result of his injuries.

He further said that before dying, his cousin mentioned five people, and that the hospital where he was taken confirmed that he had been bullied and suffered internal injuries after being supposedly beaten up.

In a statement, the school administration disputed the allegation, claiming that one of its dormitory workers claimed the child was hurt while playing football with his buddies on November 21.
