Indonesia volcano toll rises as search for lacking continues

The death toll following the eruption of Indonesia’s Semeru volcano has risen to 14, officials said, as rescuers searched villages protected in molten ash for survivors.
In a declaration on Sunday, a spokesman for Indonesia’s catastrophe mitigation organization (BNPB) stated of the 14 people killed by means of the eruption have been diagnosed.
The spokesman, Abdul Muhari, said at least ninety eight people were injured, which include two pregnant women, at the same time as 902 people had been evacuated from the villages surrounding Semeru within the East Java Province
