A Graphic Communications Group Journalist, Della Russel, has taken to Facebook to announce that a company is willing to finance the trip of Francisca Lamini's teammates to Dubai following the plea she made.

In a Facebook post made by Russel, he disclosed that a company is willing to finance the two boys' trip to Dubai to spend some holidays with Francisca and the contestants for the winning school in the National Science and Maths Quiz competition, Prempah College.

“Any contact link to the handlers of the Ketasco NMSQ Team pls?

A company wants to sponsor the visa fees, hotel, airfare, and accommodation for the other two team members, Bright and Lutterodt so they can join Francisca on the trip.

Pls, treat this as urgent because the company wants to start the processes from tomorrow," he wrote.

In another post, he disclosed that he was able to reach the authorities of the Keta Senior High School and the organizers of the NSMQ competition and arrangements have made been made for the boys to meet with the company.

Background

Francisca Lamini, one of the three representatives of Keta Senior High Technical School (SHTS) in the just ended National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), called on philanthropists to get her two teammates to join them on their tour to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Speaking to Tv 3 in an interview, the 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) outstanding female contestant said it is good if her teammates are sponsored by a philanthropist to embark on the tour with them.

According to her, they have been together as a team for some time now and so leaving them behind to embark on a tour to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will not elate her.

Francisca has been chosen to join the winning team, the contestants for Prempeh College, on a tour to Dubai.

Her trip is sponsored by Kenya Airways and Adansi Travels.

This is intended to encourage female students in the study of Science and Maths.

The NMSQ took to its Twitter page to announce this development.

However, Francisca, while appreciating this offer, appeals to philanthropists to support her teammates to embark on the trip with her.
