A Kenyan cop kills six people, including his wife.
In Nairobi, Kenya's capital, a police officer shot and killed his wife and five other people before killing himself.
The cop allegedly requested his wife to lock her shop and the couple returned home, where neighbors heard him shooting early Tuesday morning.
He then exited the apartments and opened fire on seven more persons. Five of them perished, while the other two are receiving treatment at the national referral hospital.
According to a police report, the cop then turned the revolver on himself and shot himself in the neck, dying on the scene.
The bodies of those slain in the event are being identified by police.
