CHELSEA finish their Champions League group stage on Wednesday with a trip to Zenit St. Petersburg.

Tuchel laments Chelsea's errors following West Ham's 3-2 victory.

Chelsea travel to Zenit on Wednesday having already qualified for the Champions League knockout stages. However, following Saturday's 3-2 Premier League defeat by West Ham, manager Thomas Tuchel will be looking for a positive response.

After a 4-0 thrashing of Juventus, the Blues advanced to the next round of European competition.

Tuchel's team is attempting to defend their title after stunning Manchester City in last season's tournament.

With a win in Russia, Chelsea can top Group H and potentially set up a favorable second-round tie.

Express Sport has selected a possible lineup, with one regular star dropped following Tuchel's criticism.

Kepa Arrizabalaga is the goalkeeper.

Tuchel admitted that Edouard Mendy was partially to blame for the Hammers' defeat.

After failing to control a back-pass and fouling Bowen, the goalkeeper was given a penalty. He then left a massive gap at his near post, allowing Arthur Masuaku to score from close range.

"Everyone is involved, and the pass is not the best decision to pass this ball back," Tuchel said to Sky Sports.

"The orientation isn't the best, but we can still save it," says Edu [Edouard], "but Edu's decision-making isn't the best right now."

Tuchel may then decide to give Kepa a rare start in the Chelsea goal.

The Spaniard has only appeared four times this season, but with the Blues already out, he may be given another chance to shine.

Jorginho and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are midfielders.

Tuchel is facing a midfield crisis as he prepares for the hectic winter schedule.

Mateo Kovacic will be out for "five or six weeks," according to the German ahead of the West Ham game.

N'Golo Kante is still out with a knee injury sustained in last month's 4-0 win over Juventus.

Loftus-Cheek may get another chance to play in midfield as a result of this.

Jorginho, the third-placed Ballon d'Or winner, is expected to stay.

Attack: Christian Pulisic, Mason Mount, Romelu Lukaku

Tuchel has the most room for improvement in attack.

Pulisic, an American winger, has made just one start since returning from a three-month absence due to an ankle injury.

Similarly, Lukaku has yet to play since suffering a similar injury against Malmo in October.

Tuchel may see this as an ideal opportunity to ramp up the 28-year-return old's after he has appeared as a substitute in the last three games.
