Journalist of pro-NDC media house, TV XYZ and ex-convict of the famous montie 3, Salifu Mugabe Maase has descended heavily on the national executives of the National Democratic Congress particularly Sammy Gyamfi.
On his late night political show on TV XYZ, the award-winning broadcaster boldly indicated that although he has had problems with the leadership of the the NDC caucus in Parliament over the approval of Mathew Opoku Prempeh, Ursula Owusu, Hawa Koomson during at the beginning of the 8th Parliament, Haruna Iddrisu and Muntaka should not always be blamed because they are doing their best.
"Organizing press conferences and lectures at the Headquarters of the party will not get you power, your lectures at Alisa hotel and extravagant air-conditioned auditoriums will not bring you the power you are looking for.
Hit the markets, streets, ghettos and communities. That is where the votes are. Do you remember the Joint Action Committee of 2008?
Prof. Mills of blessed memory went into the trenches and brought power which you all enjoyed. He went house to house campaigning for votes not press conferences".
He posited the NDC has not learnt any lessons from the 2020 elections but is still repeating the mistakes they made.
Mugabe admonished the national executives of the opposition party to move into the communities and kickstart the campaign going into 2024.
He was speaking at the back of an economic lecture on the economy by Hon. Eric Opoku, Hon. Adongo and Sammy Gyamfi to be held today at Alisa Hotel in Accra.
