The champions league draw will take place on 13th December which is Monday at Uefa headquarters located at Switzerland.
16 teams will have to qualify and play home and away fixtures. Teams from the same group can not meet in the champions league round of 16.
Also same teams from the same country can’t meet in the round of 16 either
Moreover teams which took the first position in their group has to face teams which landed in the second position in their group table.
As I already said no team can face a team he played in the group stage in the round of 16.
Group leaders from each group will have to host the second leg of the round of 16 pairing and teams that took the second place will have to host the first leg.
There will be no away goal rules for this season’s champions league. So teams that levels at the end of 180 mins will have to move on to extra time no matter the goals scored.
Real Madrid will have to face Portugal side Sporting Cp or PSG . Note the white angles can not face Inter Milan in round of 16 although they placed second. The same way Madrid can’t face their country team ATM in the round of 16.
PSG who placed 2nd in their group trashed Club Brugge 4:1 on their home soil thanks to Messi and Mbappe for that brace, they might face the white Angels in the champions league round of 16.
If it happens so Messi will then return to Spain to face his formal rivalry team at Santiago Bernabeau . The same way Mbappe will then face the club he wants to play in the future
