Since it was introduced in Parliament in June, the Promotion of Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values Bill has aroused debate in Ghana.

Despite the fact that Parliament has received over 100 memoranda in support or opposition to the Anti-LGBTQ Bill, several religious and traditional bodies are demanding that Parliament expedite processes to pass the bill into law because LGBTQ values are incompatible with Ghanaian cultural practices.

Some Members of Parliament have claimed that they have been denied visas to international nations because of discussions to outlaw same-sex-related activities.

After meeting with representatives of the transportation organizations, Adjei Mensah, the deputy Minister of Roads and Highways, has come out to make a stunning statement about the spike in fuel costs.

Speaking about the recent driver's strike, Adjei Mensah stated that the country is now experiencing fuel price increases as a result of Ghanaians' refusal to accept LGBTQ+ people in the country.

He also stated that the Ghanaian government would be unable to reduce the price of fuel in Ghana, owing to our stance on the LGBTQ+ issue.
