Barcelona Manager has revealed he wants to start his team from the scratch and build a new team to help Barcelona up to it feet again.
After a painful exit in the champions league, Xavi has been tipped that he might offload some players from his team.
Xavi is now preparing to have the team he wants , and the team that can help him compete in all competitions. Xavi who failed to score Benfica and Bayern Munich in the champions league has now been dropped to the second tier of Uefa competition, that is the Europa league .
Also Barcelona are 7th on the laliga table and Xavi feels some players in the Barcelona squad can’t help him achieve his goal as Barcelona manager.
Xavi could ask the Barcelona board to put their number one goal keeper Marc-Andres ter Stegen , former Ajax right back Segino Dest and Midfielder Frankie de Jong on transfer list.
Marc Andres ter Stegen was seen as one of the best goal keeper in Europe some few years ago, but unfortunately the German goal keeper has been struggling nowadays and the belief is that Xavi has seen enough of the goal keeper and he wants him out.
Moreover De Jong could be placed on the transfer list as the former Ajax player does not play like the way he played when Barcelona bought him from Ajax in 2019. Xavi might also include Dest in the transfer list as the future of the right back at Camp Nou is uncertain.
Dest joined the Catalan giants 18months ago but his performance might see the player out of the Barcelona squad.
Manchester city Ferran Torres has also agreed personal terms with Barcelona, but city as it stands now have not decided whether to sell the player to Barcelona or not.
