Roberto Firmino returned to training at Kirby as the Liverpool squad welcomed back their Brazilian forward, as well as Joe Gomez and Naby Keita, ahead of the Aston Villa match.

To the delight of his Liverpool teammates, Roberto Firmino has returned to training.

The Brazilian has been sidelined since suffering a hamstring injury in the Reds' 2-0 victory over Atletico Madrid in early November.

Despite his absence, Liverpool have won six of their seven games in all competitions since.

Klopp initially stated that the injury was "not good" and that the 30-year-old would be sidelined for an extended period of time.

Firmino, on the other hand, has returned just in time, with a busy fixture schedule ahead of us.

Virgil van Dijk, who suffered a horrific injury last season, was overjoyed to see the Brazilian back in training at Kirby.

Joe Gomez and Naby Keita, who were also on the injured list, joined him.

Roberto Firmino has returned to training at Liverpool.

The Dutchman stated in a video on Liverpool's website: "Bobby, Naby, and Joe are all stunning. What an amazing sight! "..

Diogo Jota has played alongside Mo Salah and Sadio Mane in Firmino's absence.

Prior to his injury, the forward had made 11 appearances, scoring six times, including a hat-trick in a 5-0 thrashing of Watford.

Liverpool's next game is this weekend against Aston Villa, and several of their returning stars could play.

Keita strengthens Klopp's midfield options, while Gomez will look to displace the likes of Ibrahima Konate in the center of defense.

Virgil van Dijk was overjoyed to see his teammates again.

Klopp, on the other hand, is confident that their departure can be postponed. "It's not decided yet," he said last week. I am an optimist, so I hope so, but it is not written in stone and is not entirely in our hands."

Following the Reds' midweek win at AC Milan, Reds midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain claimed that the current team is superior to the one that won the Premier League in 2020.

"I believe the team is in the best shape it has ever been." "I believe we're a better team than we have been up to this point," he said.

"And I think that comes from years of playing together, having moments of success, understanding what we needed to do to get there, the standards we had to set, and how relentless we had to be to achieve those things."
