Liverpool are interested in signing Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo, which might mean he partners up with one of his idols, Virgil van Dijk.
Liverpool is reportedly looking into Araujo ahead of a possible bid in 2022, according to ESPN.

Barcelona may be forced to sell Araujo, who is out of contract in 2023, for pennies on the dollar. Liverpool is claimed to be 'especially intrigued' in Araujo, with scouts monitoring his progress into 2021.

The Uruguayan is a name to watch in 2022, with Liverpool in in position to raid Barcelona.
