Minority Pioneer, Haruna Iddrisu has charged the primary Delegate Speaker, Joseph Osei-Owusu of acting in contravention of article 296 of the 1992 Structure.


The allegation is in connection to Joseph Osei-Owusu’s refusal to confess a movement by the Minority in Parliament to switch the endorsement of the 2022 Budget.

In a letter dated December 13 and tended to to the primary Appointee Speaker, Haruna Iddrisu said the Bekwai MP’s reliance on Standing Arrange 13(2) to quash the movement by the Minority is ‘misconceived and smacks of an mishandle of discretionary control’.
