A lady, 20, has been killed by boyfriend in the Asokore Mampong Municipal in the Ashanti Region over unfaithfulness.
The 26-year-old suspect, Kwasi Bonsu, allegedly committed the murder with a knife.
Parts of the deceased's head were also crashed with cement block according to reports.
The body was taken for preservation at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for autopsy.
The suspect was severely injured by the youths and was rescued by the police who then sent him to the Manhyia Hospital where he received medical care.
According to him, the deceased, whom he referred to as Samira, was his girlfriend and was killed because of her unfaithfulness.
Kwasi is currently detained by the police.
