The defense attorney for Josephine, lady involved in a fake pregnancy saga in Takoradi in the Western Region, Lawyer Phillip Fiifi Buckman has expressed unhappiness about the slow pace of proceedings in court.
It could be recalled that, earlier this year Josephine, a resident of Takoradi was allegedly busted for faking her pregnancy and kidnapping.
A Takoradi Habour Court presided over by His Worship Michael Kwodjoe Ampadu has adjourned the case to 6th January, 2022 to begin hearing after a finalisation of case management and sharing of documents to be relied on between defense and prosecution attorneys.
Addressing the media after the court sitting, the defense law didn't hide his disappointment with the snail-pace at which the case was traveling.
He indicated that he was not happy with the extension of the date by the court but was optimistic he will get a good judgement for his client.
"Although we are not happy with the extension of the date, we are forever ready with all our evidence and defense", he said.
