Everyone knows that football is one of the toughest (and most difficult) games on the planet, and when you mention some of the best players in the world, names like Martins, Diego Costa, and, of course, Lionel Messi, usually spring to mind.

Messi, Lionel

Lionel Messi is an Argentine professional soccer player who now plays for both Paris Saint-Germain and the Argentina national team as a forward.

Lionel Messi is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in history, having won seven Ballon d'Or honors and six European Golden Shoe medals during his career.

Messi has won 35 trophies since joining Barcelona in 2004, including ten La Liga crowns, seven Copa del Rey titles, and four European Champions Leagues. Messi spent his entire professional career at the club until leaving this year, earning a club record 35 titles. Messi, a prolific goalscorer and excellent facilitator, currently holds the La Liga record for most goals scored. He has 750 senior-career goals for Barcelona and the Argentina national team, and he now holds the club record for most goals scored by a single player.

Perhaps in the history of the Barcelona football club, there will never be another player quite like Leo Messi.

Furthermore, Lionel Messi is without a doubt one of the most accomplished footballers in the world, having won numerous major and minor championships including the:

1. The La Liga championship (which he won ten times)

The Copa Del Rey is the second most important soccer tournament in the world (which he won 7 times)

The UEFA Champions League is number three (which he won 4 times)

The UEFA Super Cup is number four (which he won 3 times).

And countless additional trophies the Argentine giant has added to his trophy case; nonetheless, in his 29 years as a footballer (since Messi began his youth career in 1992 with Gradoli FC), the star has yet to win the following trophies:

The FIFA World Cup is number one on the list (he was close to winning it but later ended up as a runner up)

The Confederations Cup is number two.

3. UEFA Europa League

Finally, it appears that if Lionel Messi does not hang up his boots in the near future, he will likely win one or more of the titles listed below.
