The professional career of a player begins at a very young age. Many players have completed their academic degree at the undergraduate or secondary school level. However, throughout time, some players have been able to earn their academic degrees.

Despite the popular idea that concentrating on more than one field may cause you to lose focus on one of them, we have compiled a list of the most educated football players of all time with extensive professional histories. Throughout the essay, you will learn about football players that have pursued their education in addition to their stellar performance on the field.

Juan is the first on the list a journalist from the Madrid Polytechnic Institute.

The Spaniard holds two higher education degrees! He enrolled in the Madrid Polytechnic while still playing for Real Madrid's youth squad, and continued to study after going to Valencia and subsequently to England (first to Chelsea, and then to Manchester United). Mata holds degrees in both athletics and marketing as a result of this. True, according to certain accounts, he is also a certified journalist.

Giorgio Chiellini is number two on the list.

Giorgio Chiellini, an Italy international, is well-known for his outstanding defence for both Juventus and the Azzurri. Despite the fact that he is nearing the end of his football career, the 35-year-old continues to improve.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in economics and commerce from the University of Turin, which he earned in 2010. Chiellini continued his education in 2017 and earned a Master's degree in the same field. The Italian centre-back should have no trouble adjusting to life after football.

Vincent Kompany is number three on the list.

Vincent Kompany holds a Master's in Business Administration to go along with his Premier League crowns as captain, screamers at vital points in title chases, and being adored by virtually everyone who crosses his path.

In 2017, he graduated from Alliance Manchester Business School with a deep interest in football's off-field environment. It was therefore unsurprising to see him take over as manager of Anderlecht.

His final dissertation topic, which examined how Premier League football clubs benefit from home advantage, earned him a distinction. If you think football players don't go to school, reconsider.
