Former communications director at the office of the President and former deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Koku Anyidoho has dared John Mahama, former President for an open conversation on their relationship.
It is widely known that the communication director under the Prof. Mills presidency has a bad relationship with the former President who was also the Vice President under the same regime.
Mr. Anyidoho said if he has once in his lifetime disrespected John Mahama when he was Vice President, he should tell the whole world.
He explained how all his countless efforts to settle differences between himself and John Mahama have proven futile because the handlers of the 2020 flagbearer have denied access to him citing pressure from unknown sources and that there cannot be friendship between the two.
"Your Excellency John Mahama, I am calling you to an open discussion. If I have ever been disrespectful to you during your days as Vice President, meet me and let's talk about it".
He expressed worry about the lies churned about him by the handlers of John Mahama even to the point of the death of his daughter last year. "One of your boys said I murdered my daughter".
Mr. Anyidoho indicated his readiness to meet the former President for an open debate and is ready to speak about the bad things perpetuated against him.
"I have dared him to a contest and if he does not come and talk to me then he doesn't deserve to be the first gentleman of the land again. I want him to come and dispel the rumors about me or he's not ready to lead the country again", he said on okay FM.
Mr. Anyidoho never returned to his portfolio at the seat of government in 2013 after the unfortunate demise of Prof. Evans Atta Mills in 2012 and a subsequent elections which birthed the John Mahama presidency.
He was suspended from the party for anti-party behavior this year.
