Sergio Aguero, who joined Barcelona from Manchester City six months ago, has declared his retirement from sport.
Since moving to Spain, Aguero, 33, has only made five appearances for the Catalan side due to injuries and health issues.
On the 30th of October, he was brought to the hospital after having "chest discomfort" following a 1-1 tie with Alaves.
Aguero scored 427 goals in 786 games during his career.

2. In the Premier League, Aguero scored once every 108 minutes, easily the best rate in the competition's history. He could play another 2,520 minutes (28 games) in the Premier League without scoring and still have the best minutes-per-goal ratio of any player in the top flight with more than 20 goals.
3. In his career, the Argentine scored 18 hat-tricks, including 12 in the Premier League, a Premier League record.

7. Between Aguero's first career goal (for Independiente) in November 2004 and his final strike for Barcelona – against Real Madrid in October 2021 – it was 16 years and 332 days.
Legendary Premier League player
Despite his untimely departure from Barcelona, Aguero's status as one of the best strikers of the twenty-first century cannot be denied.
He began his career at Independiente de Argentina before joining Atletico Madrid, where he won the Europa League in 2010 and scored 101 goals in 234 appearances.
Manchester City were so impressed by his performance that they spent a record-breaking £38 million to lure him to the Etihad Stadium.
He would go on to become a club and Premier League star during his 10-year stay in England, winning five Premier League titles, one FA Cup, and six League Cups.
With 260 goals in 390 games, including 16 hat-tricks, Aguero shattered City's all-time scoring record in the summer.
The Argentine is also responsible for arguably the most iconic moment in Premier League history, scoring with virtually the last kick of the 2011-12 season to seal a victory over Queens Park Rangers, giving Manchester City their first title since 1968 and denying fierce rivals Manchester United by goal difference.
Barcelona came to a terrible end.
After it became evident that Aguero would be permitted to leave Manchester City, a move to Barcelona appealed to him because of his close friendship with compatriot Lionel Messi.
Pep Guardiola had initially been concerned about Aguero's ability to fit into his style of play, but injuries limited Aguero's playing time during his final season at the Etihad.
However, the move to Barcelona was a disaster from the outset. Due to the club's financial difficulties, it was difficult to register new signings, including Aguero.
Messi's exit to Paris St-Germain was prompted by the same issues.
When Aguero was finally registered, he suffered a calf injury that forced him to miss the rest of the season until October.
On October 24, he made his only El Clasico appearance against Real Madrid, scoring a 90th-minute consolation, and three days later made his first start for the club.
However, Aguero's withdrawal against Alaves in October was followed by a "cardiac exam," and he stated on social media that he would make a choice on his playing future based on doctors' advice.
He claimed he'd evaluate his progress in 90 days, citing claims that he'd been diagnosed with cardiac arrhythmia, or an erratic heartbeat.
His final appearance for Argentina occurred in the Copa America this summer, when he came on as a substitute in the quarter-final triumph over Ecuador, which saw La Albiceleste win For the first time in 28 years, the trophy was awarded.
However, he has made his decision earlier than planned.
