Ghana's Senior High School Education would be extended from three to six years, according to Education Minister Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum.
This move is part of a larger push in Ghana to improve secondary education by focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
Dr. Adutwum also stated that after the county education system is implemented, the number of high schools in Ghana will be decreased from 13,000 to around 2,500.
