Kylian Mbappe is expected to join Real Madrid next summer, according to Karim Benzema. "Let's see whether Mbappé is coming," the Madrid forward replied, cryptically.
Benzema remained tight-lipped about the situation. His remark, on the other hand, is sure to start a rumour mill spinning. In two weeks, the transfer window will open, and Mbappe will be free to sign a pre-contract with the Spanish club.
Kylian Mbappe's current contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires in the summer of 2022, giving him the opportunity to leave the club next summer. Real Madrid has stated their intentions, but PSG is adamant about keeping their star striker in the city. Despite the fact that PSG's management insists that Mbappe would sign a new deal, the youngster's camp's constant stalling hardly qualifies as good faith.
The star is still interested on a move to Madrid, admitting that it would be a dream come true for him. He is also close friends with Karim Benzema and has no qualms about playing for the same club as his pal.
Despite having only a year left on his contract, Real Madrid had a proposal of around €190 million rejected by PSG in the summer. They now appear to be on the verge of releasing their man next summer.

When asked about his international teammate joining Real Madrid earlier this season, fourth-placed Ballon d'Or finalist Karim Benzema said: "[Mbappe] has stated that he wants to see something different. He'll play for Real Madrid one day. I'm not sure when it will happen. He will, however, arrive. It's simply a matter of time before it happens."
PSG's Mbappe has been on fire this season. In 23 appearances for the Parisian club, he has 13 goals and 14 assists.
