Enraged foot soldiers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Kumasi have issued a two-day ultimatum to the party's leadership to offer them jobs or cause chaos at the Annual National Delegates Conference.
According to them, things have not been well for them since the party came into power.
Speaking to 3News, a member of the protesting team said the party has failed to grant them job placements after they had jeopardized their lives to campaign for the party to win power.
He said though, the party is in power, it is cumbersome for them to secure school placements for their wards.
He also said several attempts to their children recruited into the security service proved futile.
This according to him, has subjected them to ridicule by the supporters of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The protesting team urged the national executives to offer them employment opportunities or they crash the upcoming conference.
The Annual National Delegates Conference is set to be held in Kumasi on Saturday, December 18, 2021.
