A carpenter who witnessed the murder of the 27-year-old Samira Farouk in Parkoso, a suburb of Kumasi, narrated how she was killed by her boyfriend.
Speaking in an interview with JoyNews, the carpenter said he heard the lady scream in pain while her lover continuously hit her with a brick.
According to him, he thought a snake bit someone was being chased with bricks until he saw Samira in a pool of blood.
He said he together with his colleagues pursued the murderer and caught him eventually.
The suspect is currently in police custody.
Residents of Parkoso, want the police to investigate the murderer and bring him to book.
Meanwhile, Samira's father, Umar Farouk, sadly told JoyNews he still didn't know whether his daughter was dead or not because while other reports said she was dead, another report said she was rushed to the hospital.
