Senior Presidential Advisor, Yaw Osafo-Maafo, said it is about time the Ghanaian youths ventured into entrepreneurship as preached by the Akufo-Addo-led government.
According to him, Ghanaians should discard their sense of job entitlement and begin to think outside the box to create employment for themselves.
He said Ghanaians should adopt the spirit of "I am creating a job for myself and others."
Speaking at the launching of Ghana Technical and Vocational Education and Training (YVET) Service on Monday, December 14, he said the 2022 government's budget statement and economic policy is one of the most outstanding budgets Ghana ever had because of the e-levy policy and the U-start program.
"That people can develop skills and become entrepreneurs; the introduction of the e-levy is extremely critical. These two things in this budget, people must hail it, is fundamentally a good document," he said.
He told the congregation that the TVET Service is very necessary and will help to produce entrepreneurs in the country.
