Donny van de Beek will not be allowed to leave Manchester United during the January transfer window, according to Ralf.

Following his arrival from Ajax in the summer of 2020, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer consistently overlooked Van de BEEK.

This season, the Dutchman received only 62 minutes of Premier League game time under the Norwegian, and he did not start a single game.

Under previous head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the Netherlands international was unable to break into the first XI, leading to extensive concern over his future.

Since Ralf Rangnick took over as interim head coach, Van de Beek has only made one start for the Red Devils, and he has only played eight minutes of Premier League football since Solskjaer's departure.

While many expected his status to improve quickly under Rangnick, van de Beek has only appeared as a late replacement in the German's two league games in charge, starting the Champions League dead rubber against Young Boys in a much-changed XI.

The 24-year-old, however, is 'valued' by Rangnick, according to The Mirror, and will not be permitted to depart in the New Year.

The most high-profile departures are Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard, who are scheduled to leave in January.

Last week, Martial's agency claimed that the France international will pursue a transfer in order to gain more playing time.

Lingard, on the other hand, is about to approach the final six months of his contract at Old Trafford, with January being the club's last chance to sell the England international.

West Ham United and Newcastle United are battling it out for Lingard's services, but Martial's requests to quit have so far gone unheeded. According to sources, Martial's £250,000-per-week contract is deterring potential suitors, with United having yet to receive a serious offer for his services.
