Dortmund's massive Haaland admission may pave the way for   MBAPPE to move to the Premier League.

As European giants prepare to land the continent's next premier prospects, Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe will be eagerly watched ahead of the next summer window.

Real Madrid, the Spanish top-flight heavyweights, have been repeatedly connected with both attackers and are considered a likely candidate to recruit one of them.

A recent update from Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke appears to have shifted the playing field slightly in terms of the Bundesliga club's top Norwegian talent's future.

"I know that all of Europe's top clubs, especially Real Madrid, want him [Haaland]," the 62-year-old told BILD (via the Daily Mail).

"Real's strong interest has been verified." I believe he would choose the Spanish league over the English league someday.

"We're hoping he stays in general."

Interest in Haaland is nothing new; in fact, it is to be expected for a player who has achieved stats (24 goal contributions in 19 games) similar to Europe's best while missing 10 games across all competitions due to injury.

Given that Madrid were thought to be the frontrunners for Mbappe's signature, doubts must be asked as to where the Frenchman's future rests if not in the Spanish city.

Mbappe, Haaland, Madrid, and Watzke are just a few of the names that come to mind.

PSG's contract with Kylian Mbappe is slated to expire in the summer of 2022, leaving a clean opportunity for clubs to exploit as early as the winter window.

However, the likelihood of Los Blancos securing both of Europe's hottest attackers has to be deemed minimal, opening the door for another elite squad to come in for a guy many assumed was destined for the world-famous white shirt.

With Liverpool and Manchester City believed to be interested in the 22-year-old goal machine, the opportunity to transfer to what many observers and pros see as the most competitive division in world football may prove too appealing to pass up.

The opportunity to work with one of the game's best managers, either Pep Guardiola or Jurgen Klopp, will undoubtedly appeal to the attacker as he weighs his options.
