24 LESSONS I'VE LEARNT IN FOUR YEARS

Your girl is officially done with her first degree! Praise God! 

it's been a roller coaster of emotions, but definitely been a very steep learning curve.
I remember I used to tell myself that I wish I could just skip to the point where I knew what I was doing and be a COMPETENT dietitian..while that would would have been easy; I've learned to appreciate the learning experience: the "I have no idea what I'm doing", the " what should I do now?", the many questions I've had to ask my friends, lecturers and preceptors and the many times I've had to say "you know what? I have no idea.
I've made plenty mistakes but I've learnt many lessons tooo..
Here goes 24 lessons I've learned in my 4 year journey
1. Everything is going to be okay.
2. Your mental health is soo important.
3. Quality over quantity, trust me.
4. Sometimes, letting go or losing a friend is the best thing for you.
5. The best things comes when you least expect it
6. Just be you. Authentically and unapologetically you.
7. Smoothies, cake and ice cream genuinely makes me soo happy.
8. Stay close to people who make you feel like sunshine.
9. No music will ever compare to Maverick City Music and I'm soo lucky to live in their music era.
10. Happiness come from the beach and palm trees, that's my happy place.
11. it's okay to be emotional.
12. Car rides, loud music, singing and dancing is one of the best feelings in the world.
13. Choosing you is not selfish, self love is not selfish.
14. Life is worth living. Regardless
15. You don't have to have it all figured out
16. Deep breaths really do help
17. Therapy is cool. like really cool. make good use of it if you can.
18. Success is a perspective
19. You are in control of you. You have the power to change who you are to be.
20. My identify doesn't have to be placed solely in what I choose to do ( and school doesn't define me either)
21. They are gossiping or judging because they are jealous
22. Your mind and body are your home forever, make it a safe, loving, happy and free place to live.
23. Little celebrations matter.
24. God is the greatest. Doing a little bit more for him is important.

Here's to a new beginning focused on finding freedom and joy in who I am right now.
