BOOM: GHANA’S COACH MILO FINALLY RELEASES A SUGAR-LACED BLACK STARS 30-MAN AFCON LIST

Milovan Rajevac, the head coach of the Ghana Black Stars, has picked a 30-man roster to begin preparations for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations [Afcon].


The four-time African champions will compete in the renowned competition, which will take place in Cameroon on January 9th, 2022.


Today, December 21, 2021, in the Conference Center in Accra, the Serbian coach unveiled a 30-man squad.


Ghana will set up camp in Qatar as part of their preparations for the tournament, playing three pre-AFCON friendly before reducing the squad to 23 for the main event.


The Black Stars have confirmed that they will play Algeria and two other countries in friendly on January 5.

Due to the catastrophic coronavirus, arrangements have been made for an additional five players to be added, which can be used as needed by various teams.


Meanwhile, the Black Stars will begin training on December 22, 2021, in Doha, Qatar.


The team will spend three weeks in Doha preparing for the competition, which will take place in Cameroon from January 9 to February 6, 2022.


Ghana will play an unnamed club side on Tuesday, December 28, before playing a friendly against one of the Africa Cup of Nations qualified sides on Friday, January 1, 2022.


Milovan's provisional squad for the 2021 African Nations Cup is as follows:


On Friday, January 7, 2022, the Black Stars will leave Doha for Yaoundé, Cameroon, to compete in the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations.


After capturing the AFCON championship in 1982, Ghana will be looking for a fifth in Cameroon next year.
