The Vice-President, Dr. Mahmud Bawumia, has announced that he will be launching a nationwide electronic pharmacy on Wednesday, December 22 at the Accra International Conference Centre as part of the digitalization agenda.
In a Facebook post, the Vice-President announced the initiative and said the e-pharmacy "will help every Ghanaian access prescribed medicines easily and cost effectively as well as avoid fake medicines."
The e-pharmacy is also said to enable Ghanaians to sit in the comfort of their homes and place orders for medicines.
