Former President and 2020 flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama has let the cat out of the bag in relation to a trending story on social media about President Akufo-Addo's cousin visiting him.
In a statement on the Facebook page of the two-time failed Presidential aspirant, he did indicate that the cousin of the President requested for conversation with him in his office to talk about issues relating to national development.
Earlier a journalist with Accra FM posted on his facebook handle that John Mahama accepted the request for Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko to have a conversation with him over the approval or otherwise of the electronic transaction levy which is currently before Parliament.
He said Mr. Gabby visited when Mahama himself granted him access after the security, wife and handlers of the former President denied him access to the former President.
Mr. Mahama reacting to the trending news said, he indeed had a conversation with Mr. Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko about the developing stories in Parliament and issues of national cohesion and development.
