Chelsea will take on Brentford on Wednesday evening with the goal of reaching the semi-finals of yet another cup competition under Thomas Tuchel.
The Blues have already won two trophies under the German's guidance, and their match against the Bees might bring them one step closer to winning the Carabao Cup. Chelsea can, of course, point to their recent success against Brentford, having defeated Thomas Frank's side 1-0 in October thanks to a Ben Chilwell goal. However, with the Blues having been hit by a Covid-19 outbreak, it may be a little more tough this time. Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Romelu Lukaku, Timo Werner, and Callum Hudson-Odoi have all tested positive for the virus and have been ruled out. Tuchel has already stated that N'Golo Kante would not play against Brentford, while Andreas Christensen and Trevoh Chalobah are also injury doubts, with the latter having been observed in training. Jorginho, on the other hand, is in contention after testing negative for Covid-19 and so being able to play. With that in mind, football.london takes a closer look at Tuchel's whole senior squad ahead of the game, as well as a handful of under-23s who could join the travelling party tonight.
