A misunderstanding arose during church service at Jesus Power Assemblies of God, Hilltop Assembly, Ohwimase in the Kwadaso Municipality, Ashanti Region, after seven members of the church were sacked.
In a viral video, the angry church members are seen exchanging words at the premises of the church while registering their displeasures.
Speaking on Akoma FM on December 20, Deacon Collins Kwarteng said the leadership of the church is mounting pressure on seven of them to vacate the church because they failed to subscribe to the church's order.
According to him, the church's board has forcibly imposed upon the natives a pastor they did not like.
He said since they as natives are responsible for providing the needs of the pastor, they have proposed for a different pastor.
This has, however, angered the church's leadership and they tagged the native members as disrespectful.
The Church's leadership issued a dismissal letter to the seven members who opposed the imposition of the pastor on the church, warning them never to attend any branch of the church again.
This development led to a fight at the church between members of the church and the church's board.
