A 42-year-old Mobile Money agent, Edward Gyamfi, met his sudden death after being attacked by robbers behind his residence at Konongo Tuesday, December 21.
Edward arrived from work Tuesday night, parked his car a few meters away from his house, and was heading towards his house when some assassins attacked him and made away with his money.
According to an eyewitness, the deceased's sister, she overheard her brother talking behind her window to some people saying, "I won't give it to you even you're going to kill me."
She said it was at that time that she heard a gunshot and when she rushed out to see what was happening, she found her brother in a pool of blood.
The deceased's wife also said some men earlier Tuesday came to withdraw an amount of Ghc 42,000 and her husband promised to bring them the money.
She said on Tuesday night, the men came to inquire if her husband had returned which she said no.
Later in the night, she heard that her husband was killed by robbers.
