Former boss of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and Director General of the Professional Standards Bureau (PIPS) of the Ghana Police Service, COP Maame Tiwaa Addo Danquah has been reassigned to the Presidency.
According to a letter dated December 13, 2021 and signed by COP Christian Tetteh Yohunu, Director General in charge of administration, the former CID boss has been ordered to a new schedule at the Presidency.
"I am directed by the Inspector General of Police to order you from your current schedule and report to the Chief of Staff at the Presidency to be reassigned.
Your release takes effect and I wish you well in your new portfolio that you will be reassigned to. Accept the compliments of the Inspector General of Police".
It is not yet clear where she will be reassigned to but she is expected to work at the Jubilee house.
