The Sam Jonah Library situated in the University of Cape Coast (UCC)'s new site, is one of the biggest libraries in the country that supports academics.
The library can entertain 2000 users at a time and it is the most visited facility in UCC.
The library records about 5000 visits daily.
Besides pamphlets and journals, the library can hold about 750,000 volumes.
There are more than 30 libraries in the university but the Sam Jonah Library is the mother of all libraries in the university.
In the library's Knowledge Common unit, several computers are provided to support research.
The Knowledge Commons also has rooms for group discussions.
