Chelsea chief Thomas Tuchel has adulated Kepa Arrizabalaga for his exhibitions this season.
While the Spaniard - the most costly goalkeeper throughout the entire existence of the game - has generally lost his place to Edouard Mendy, Tuchel has waxed melodious with regards to the 27-year-old in front of the Africa Cup of Nations.
The previous Athletic Bilbao plug was noteworthy as a young Chelsea side beat Brentford in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals recently and should move forward in Mendy's nonappearance.
"I'm extremely glad overall. Glad is possibly not the right word, but rather I am really intrigued with Kepa," he said."It isn't amazement any longer since he is in the perspective personally, a person, and an athlete where he simply conveys for us since he does what he specializes in.
"This is the thing that he shows consistently in preparing and to this end he gets the award. I'm certain beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is the justification for why he has these sorts of exhibitions.
"I'm really glad, we really want him in this sort of shape. The goalkeepers are a solid gathering and Kepa is a major piece of it."
