The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the National Association of Sachet and Packaged Water Producers (NASAWAP) said there will be an increment in sachet water price.
The association announced that effective Monday, December 27, sachet water will no longer be sold at 20p but rather 40p.
The association's President, Mr. Magnus Nunoo, said a bag of sachet water will now be sold at 4.50p at sachet water companies while shops will sell it at 6.
This development has generated massive reactions on Facebook with a lot of people saying Ghanaians are overburdened and things seem not to be getting any better.
