Popular Jamaican dancehall artiste, Anthony Moses Davis, popularly known as Beenie Man has been nabbed by cops for violating Covid-19 protocols.
According to reports, when the Jamaican superstar arrived at the Kotoka Airport last week, he tested positive for the Coronavirus and was subjected to a compulsory quarantine.
Bennie Man was quarantined at the AH Hotel in East Legon but the artiste absconded.
He was sighted on numerous interviews on TV stations with a Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Stone Bwoy.
The Jamaican artiste was also sighted at Stone Bwoy's concert entertaining a large audience.
When the Jamaican artiste went for his passport at the airport to return to his country, he was arrested by the Immigration officers for his recalcitrance.
The artiste reportedly presented a fake clearance report from the Ghana Health Service (GHS) to the immigration personnel but
According to the Immigration officers, he has now been handed over to the Ghana Health Service for necessary investigations.
Meanwhile, the GHS already cautioned event organizers to abide by all Covid-19 protocols to avoid the spread of the virus.
