Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool squad will be bolstered by the return of Virgil van Dijk, Fabinho, and Curtis Jones from their respective absences for tonight's match against Leicester.
While the draw against Tottenham last weekend was a letdown, van Dijk and Fabinho in particular should provide Klopp with a much more solid foundation.
Indeed, at their best, the two are the most important defensive pillars of this Liverpool team.
Thiago Alcantara has also been released from isolation after testing positive for Covid, though it is unclear whether he will be chosen from the start.
The good news for Merseysiders is that their star players are fit to play against the Foxes. Fabinho, Thiago Alcantara, and record signing Virgil van Dijk were all absent due to the coronavirus, but Klopp has confirmed (LFC) that the trio, as well as young Jones, are available.
Alisson would return in goal to replace Kelleher, and Van Dijk and Matip could start in central defense. Alexander-Arnold should return to the RB position, but with Robertson suspended, Tsimikas must start in the left back position again.
In the midfield, Fabinho would start as the main defensive midfielder, with skipper Jordan Henderson playing alongside Spaniard Thiago in the center of the park.
After all, with all due respect to Leicester, Brendan Rodgers' team isn't exactly in good form and will be missing key players due to an unfortunate combination of positive Covid tests and injuries.
Liverpool predicted XI (4-3-3): Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Konate, Tsimikas, Fabinho, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Keita, Salah, Firmino, Mane
