Bono Regional chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Kwame Baffoe popularly called Abronye has expressed unhappiness about current happenings in the party. 

In a letter signed by the Bono regional chairman of the party, he acknowledged notice of a letter trending on social media addressed to him even before receiving a copy. 

"I have taken notice of your letter addressed to me and in circulation on social media with respect to a supposed decision made in reference to the suspension of the Sunyani East communication officer. 

I am particularly surprised why the council of elders will leak a letter addressed to me to the media even before I could officially receive a copy." 

Mr. Abronye called for an unqualified apology to be rendered to Members of Parliament, regional executives and other prominent members of the party within the region on the same meduim used to say disparaging things about them that necessitated the suspension. 

He indicated that any attempt by the council of elders to overlook the decision of the regional Secretariat for Mr. Mahama to render an unqualified apology is tantamount to a breath of the party's disciplinary measures.
