Minister of Trade and Industry, Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng has taken the lead in the latest election poll undertaken by the University of Oxford in partnership with the University of Cape Coast, bachelor of commerce department.
The poll which was conducted in eight(8) regions, asked 400,000 Ghanaians who they will vote for in the 2024 elections between Alan Kyeremateng and John Dramani Mahama of the NDC.
Even though the leading political parties are yet to hold internal elections to elect candidates for the 2024 elections, names like Dr. Kwabena Duffour and John Mahama are possible candidates for the opposition National Democratic Congress and Dr. Bawumia and Alan Kyeremateng for the ruling New Patriotic Party.
Alan Kyeremateng, a 3-time contender for flagbearership race is expected to contest for the fourth time. He polled 51% while John Mahama did 42% for the NDC, a decline in the 2020 elections.
