Former World Dancing Champion Adjetey Sowah and Legendary Dancer and Highlife artist Akosua Agyapong were honored at their houses by legendary Ghanaian dancer and choreographer Incredible Zigi.
Zigi didn't just show up at these dance champions' homes with empty hands; he also showed up with cheer, a thankful heart, and incredible gifts.
"It is really essential for us to recognize those who paved the path for us," Incredible Zigi remarked when asked why he wanted to do this to commemorate the season. For the longest time, Adjetey Sowah and Akosua Agyapong carried high the Ghanaian dancing flag, giving us optimism that dancing had a bright future. They have been a source of inspiration and advice for me. It is for this reason that I have chosen to respect and seek their blessings for the many years ahead in my work."
Incredible Zigi was thanked by Adjetey Sowah and Akosua Agyapong, who then blessed him with prayer and encouraged him to continue inspiring the next generation of dancers.
Incredible Zigi and Guinness recently invited Adjetey Sowah and Akosua Agyapong Ghana participate as Judges in the Guinness Black Shines Brightest Dance Challenge Grand Finale in Accra.
Zigi has accomplished a lot in his dance career; he is the first Ghanaian dance artist to be included in various publications, including the famous Global Grind twice, and he has performed in Nigeria, Rwanda, Russia, and the United Kingdom.
His talent has attracted international corporations like as Guinness, with whom he is collaborating in the Guinness Black Shines Brightest Campaign to convey the black story with actual cultural makers from throughout the continent. He calls this achievement the "highlight of his dance career."
Incredible Zigi has also collaborated with prestigious brands such as Spotify and Woodin, to name a few.
Zigi's ambition is to be one of the first to promote and perform Afrobeats dance on the renowned World of Dance platform, as well as to open dance studios throughout Africa and beyond to help offer hope to the younger generation who are forced to dance on the streets for a job. He intends to educate the young men and place them on a path to make a living from their abilities.
He aspires to be able to tour the world, teaching and choreographing with other artists, and sharing his extensive dance knowledge and skills.
