Following Dancehall King, Shatta Wale’s controversial opinions more especially in the manner in which he presented it insulting Nigerians in the process about support from Nigerian artists, Stonebwoy has also come out to share his opinions.

Shatta Wale in a series of tweets after selling out the biggest stadium in Ghana for his partly owned Freedom show has taken a hit at Nigerian musicians for not reciprocating the same energy they, Ghanaians show them in supporting and promoting their craft to the world. As usual and expected of Shatta, he presented his opinions in an unapologetic manner inviting the rage and uproar from non- supports and Nigerians in general upon him.

However, Stonebwoy has also come out to corroborate Shatta Wale’s point but in a more inviting and respectful way. He acknowledged the power Nigerians possess on the global music market and asks for them to channel some of such power to promote other African music crafts most especially that of Ghana, his country.
