Zimbabwe Name Six SA-based Stars In AFCON Squad.
Six South Africans are included to Zimbabwe's AFCON team.
Zimbabwe has picked six players who are based in South Africa in their final roster for the Africa Cup of countries event, which can happen next month.
Despite the absence of renowned player Khama Billiat, Warriors coach Norman Mapeza has picked his 23-man roster for the 2018 Africa Cup of countries . Billiat announced his retirement from international football earlier this year.
Onismor Bhasera and Kudakwashe Mahachi from SuperSport United, JDR Stars' Ishmael Wadi from JDR Stars, and therefore the Venda Academy combo of Godknows Murwira and Gerald Takwara were among the six South African-based players who made the ultimate cut, including Onismor Bhasera and Kudakwashe Mahachi.
Aside from the previous Kaizer Chiefs player Knowledge Musona, the list includes other international talents like as Teenage Hadebe and Tino Kadwere, among others.
