1. Messi is leaving Barcelona to join PSG.
Nobody could have predicted this. Messi was allowed to leave Barca due to financial difficulties after many years of service and thirty-four trophies won with the club. He left for PSG after a press conference in which he said his goodbyes to Barcelona. Messi's time with Barca was the most successful, with only three of the seventeen seasons messi spent with the team ending in failure to win a trophy.
2.Cristiano Ronaldo is set to return to Manchester United.
It was widely reported throughout the year that Cristiano Ronaldo was set to leave Juventus, so it wasn't exactly a bid deal when he left, but his return to Manchester United after twelve years surprised many. Despite playing for Man United, Ronaldo has been consistent on the field since his return. Man United have been in poor form for much of the season, but they are slowly regaining their form under new manager ralf ragnarick.
3.Jack Grealish joins Manchester City.
When Jack Grealish left Aston Villa for Man City for a staggering £100 million, he became the most expensive British player in history.
He was signed by Man City to add creativity to their midfield after a standout season at Aston Villa, where he led the club to a Premier League top ten finish.
He's had a mixed start to life at Man City so far, but hopefully things will improve for him as time goes on.
