Following the controversial interview of Chelsea star striker Romelu Lukaku which was not authorized by the club authorities responsible for such issues which called for his punishment by Chelsea fans, Thomas Tuchel has decided to exclude the striker from the squad to face Liverpool on Sunday at the Stanford Bridge. The manager describes the situation as surprising to him as the striker always looked happy everyday.

"We need to speak to him and he needs to speak to us" was what Tuchel suggested will be a way of resolving the mess the striker has created.

But for now until further notice, Lukaku will be left out of the Chelsea squad.
