Life as a level hundred student in the university is one that gets you nervously excited because in actual fact you have expectations yet you do not know what to expect. In the university, even though your aim to to excel wonderfully in your academics, there are certain attitudes you can pick up that would result in you not making it as you expect. Even though there are a lot, here are three of these things that can cost you a lot, the first one starts with you being;
Feeling too relaxed and lazy: As a fresh university student, there is that feeling of freedom in the air which reduces your seriousness as a student and the truth is that not everyone realizes it. Your first year results are really important and it's imperative for you to do very well because your foundation tells whether or not you'd be able to build strong or not. Many students think to themselves or plan to joke with the first year and put in seriousness the continuing years, but the university is not a place where you can do sudden catching up because you all of a sudden decide to become serious.
Lastly, feeling intimidated; there is nothing to fear in the university, except for putting yourself in situations that can put your life in danger. Your voice as a student adds up to the things that make you a student so when you lose your voice you gradually Lose Yourself, be bold and in standing for what is right, because when you are timid you only end up never amounting to anything on campus.
The above, are just three of the mistakes freshers put up
that put their tertiary life in jeopardy in the long run. Even though there are
more attitudes that can cost you a lot, like; fighting, being disrespectful
especially towards lecturers, trusting too easily and stealing. The initially mentioned tends to be less conspicuous attitudes that retard the progress of a student.
