Nkoso Beach is a popular beach in the Central Region specifically Cape Coast situated opposite the University of Cape Coast (UCC)'s South Campus gate.
The beach is widely referred to as "Nkoso Beach" by the University community and the natives of Cape Coast.
It is a place where some of the students resort to mostly on weekends and holidays to feel the breeze.
It is also a place where students who have been tremendously stressed by academic activities such as quizzes, presentations, assignments, lectures, etc. resort to releasing stress.
The University of Cape Coast, also known by the student body as University of Constant Confusion, can render students bamboozled due to the magnitude of pressure associated with academics.
Students who find themselves confused after going through a whole lot of stress also sometimes resort to Nkoso Beach to free their minds from confusing thoughts.
Individuals and clubs also jog to the breeze on Saturdays and Sundays to keep themselves healthy and active after all, it is said that "all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy."
There are numerous drinking spots at the Nkoso Beach where visitors patronize their favourite drinks.
While some visitors grab chilled bottles of non-alcoholic drinks to cool their systems, others also go for alcoholic drinks.
Above all is the natural cool ventilation the sea blows. The ventilation is so cool and suitable for inhalation.
